RTA's Salik 3.0: New site for easier pay as you go

All queries and confusion to be handled in more user-friendly manner

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently launched the revamped Salik website under a plan developed to make the website more user-friendly.

Mohammed Ibrahim Al Awadi, Director of Intelligent Traffic Systems, Traffic and Roads Agency, RTA, said, “The renovation of Salik website was undertaken in response to the “Government Website Excellent Model Version 3.0”, in order to make it easier for customers to access the information they require while browsing the website.

"The step is also intended to furnish surfers with periodic updates about Salik services, besides communicating with them in order to identify their suggestions, complaints and inquiries.”

“The new face-lifting undergone by the website involved improvements by adding more customers’ frequently asked questions (FAQ) along with relevant replies so that we can meet all customers’ requirements and queries about Salik,” he added.

“The website has now become more flexible than ever before in terms of communicating with RTA’s network, agencies and departments of relevance to our work. Some glitches had been encountered in the past in this regard but now the new website is more user-friendly,” said Al Awadi.
