Dubai Police busted a gang of five Russians who robbed $6million and injured the victims with knives, according to Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police Chief.

Two of the gang members attacked the two victims at the parking lot of their building and made away with two bags comprising $6m in a black salon car.

In a major breakthrough, police found the salon car used by the culprits belonged to an Australian, AD, who was on holiday.

After police sent out the information about the car, two people called to inform that a similar car was spotted in one of the malls and that two people [with similar descriptions] were seen getting off it.

The two suspects were very professional in their conduct, said the police chief, as they had used another stolen car - a Chrysler - in the same operation and spoke on mobile phones very prudently.
