Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Thursday witnessed the impressive achievement made by six-year-old Opinion Poll in the Henry II Stakes at Sandown Park racecourse in England in preparation for the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot next month.

The prizes were handed over to Sheikh Juma bin Dalmouk Al-Maktoum, Godolphin trainer Mahmoud Al-Zarouni and rider Frankie Dettori.

Ten horses including Ley Hunter of Godolphin Stables and Zuider Zee which is owned by Princess Haya bint Al-Hussain, wife of Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, took part in the race.

"Opinion Poll's win indicates its preparedness for a strong standing at the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot," Al-Zarouni said adding his hopes were high during the intensive training.
