Budget Fare: Under Dh1,000 tickets from UAE

Summer holidays can be very expensive and buying last-minute air tickets can only add to the cost.

However, there are some really cool offers on price tickets that airlines are offering right now and we’ve picked the ones that are under Dh1,000 for those on a tight budget to spend their summer holidays.

For those who can spend more, there are many deals you can take advantage of. Airlines are offering attractive rates on select routes from UAE for a limited period.

Leading the pack is an offer to India for Dh865, all-inclusive, courtesy Etihad and Jet Airways. This price is lower than what some budget airlines are offering and it’s applicable to 10 Indian cities, so you don’t have to worry about paying more if you are travelling to Delhi instead of Mumbai, or Kochi instead if Thiruvananthapuram.

Besides the Indian cities, the airline is also offering special fares from the UAE to Doha and Bahrain. Fares start from Dh854 for a return economy class flight to Bahrain. The sale is valid until the end of this month.

Sharjah-based Air Arabia is offering a 48-hour weekly web promotion. Under this offer, customers can buy tickets starting Dh399 return, all-inclusive to select destinations. For example, you can fly from Sharjah to Muscat for Dh399; to Lar/Bahrain/ Doha and Kuwait for Dh499; to Dammam/Salalah for Dh599; to Jeddah/Karachi for Dh850 and to Colombo for Dh950 among some other featured cities.

Flydubai doesn’t have any special offers running right now but it does offer some attractive rates for destinations within the GCC. For example, you can fly to Bahrain for about Dh650 in July. Flying to Kuwait is a little over Dh500 return that the airline is offering in July.

Singapore Airlines is also offering attractive rates to comparatively faraway destinations. The airline is offering tickets from UAE to Singapore for Dh1,575; to Jakarta for Dh1,655; to Kuala Lumpur for Dh1,765; to Hong Kong for Dh2,005 and to Tokyo for Dh2,775. These are some of the fares on offer and are valid until the middle of the next month.
