Teacher slaps and beats Grade VI student in UAE school

A video showing a teacher beating a grade six student in a public school in the UAE several times on his face and head has gone viral on social media.

The video was taken by another student in the class. The boy wept and his class mates made fun of him.

Commenting on the video, Ahlam Al Shamsi, Emirati singer, posted a video on her personal Instagram account and condemned the teacher.

She described the teacher as a coward and called the Minister of Education to remove him from his teaching job.

She said it seems the teacher was beaten up by his wife at home that morning and he took out his anger on the little boy.

Ahlam also asked her fans if they knew the boy or his family and promised to appoint a top lawyer to sue the teacher.

This video also made many angry who said that teaching is a noble profession which requires patience. They said if the teacher loses his temper quickly, then he shouldn't be teaching.
