A truck has overturned on Al Khail Road, near Meydan, en route to Abu Dhabi.
Witnesses on the scene have reported heavy traffic jam, with drivers cautioned to take alternatives as authorities clear the scene.
The truck has overturned on its side, with the accident scene located near the Al Wasl/Al Safa exit.
Eyewitness S Kumar said: “I was coming from the Al Ain Road, heading onto Al Khail, trying to take the Al Hadiqa Road exit. It took me 40 minutes to cross the 400 metres to reach the exit.”
John Jolbe tweeted: “Heavy traffic due to vehicular accident at Al Khail Road on the way to Abu Dhabi.”
