Almost 300 meters high in the air, the flag boasts being one of the highest in the region, if not in the world.
Speaking on the occasion, Andrew Elias, the company’s CEO, said, “Kele Contracting is observing this year’s national day by hoisting the highest  UAE flag on the exterior of the D1 Tower, allowing the UAE flag to take prominence on the skyline.”

Only one flag on the track
Over 200 staff members Yas Marina Circuit congregated on-track this week to celebrate the UAE’s 41st Anniversary with a commemorative photo in front of a Formula Yas 3000 from the circuit’s own fleet of racing vehicles.
“As we take a moment to reflect and celebrate the UAE’s many achievements over the past forty one years, we are also taking a moment to reflect upon our own journey,” said Richard Cregan, Chief Executive Officer of Yas Marina Circuit.

Love for the flag
This magical display of love for the UAE flag dominated the landscape in Mirdiff, with some social networking sites claiming that pilots flying overhead were commenting on it.

Cars, banners, scarves
If there was a space where you could wear it or paint it, it was pretty much a done deal as the UAE flag graced the lives of Emiratis and expats across the country.
