UAE's 'Super Daad' with 90 kids to marry again

Daad Mohammed Al Balushi all set to marry a Pakistani even as two of his wives are expecting children next month

Daad Mohammed Al Balushi, UAE's super dad who has 90 children from 17 wives is all set to marry yet again in two weeks.

The 63-year-old big daddy says "100 children are within reach", reported 'Khaleej Times'. Two of his wives are expecting kids in June. “Next month, by the grace of God, I will be the father of 92 children,” he said. He already has 50 grandchildren.

“Now I have three wives. I will have my fourth wife after next week when I get married to Rukhsana Arif from Pakistan. There will be a big feast. His Highness Shaikh Humaid will bear all the expenses,” the paper qouted him as saying.

Al Balushi calls himself a 'global father' as his wives come from Philippines and Morocco even. "Unfortunately, it is not allowed to have more than four wives at a time. If allowed, I can manage 20 wives at a time. But I never marry a divorcee or widow."

Each wife lives separately with her children in luxury. Each home has a car and housemaids. "Now, I have 17 houses with 17 families, all under my care," says the super dad. He currently has 60 sons and 30 daughters.

The entire family meets in Manamah every week in Al Balushi’s old home. He visits Manamah on Thursday nights to attend the weekly court of the Ajman Ruler.

“Life and death is in God’s hand. If I live, I am certain I will achieve the target. I have given word to the Late President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, that I will have at least 100 children before I die,” said Al Balushi.

He said he made the promise in 2002 while late Sheikh Zayed honoured him and other UAE nationals with the most number of children. He came on top then and remains there till this day.

Al Balushi lost his leg in a road accident in 1995. He said he would go to Jaipur, India, to have an artificial leg next month and possibly look for a new bride there.

His father Murad Abdul Rahman lived until 110 years and had four wives with 27 children.

Messenger of Allah (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) say “Each one of you is a shepherd. And each of you will be asked about your flock. A ruler also is a shepherd and he will be asked about his flock. And every man is a shepherd to his family. And every woman is the custodian of her husband’s house and his children. Thus each one of you is a shepherd and each one will be asked about his flock.” [narrated by: Abdullah ibn Masud Book: Sahih Bukhari and Muslim]

These women probably marry him because they know they will eventually live in luxury.

Can he swear to the paternity of all those children? Can he share paternal care to all the children? Its more than material provision. I guess this man will pass some of his children on the street without knowing who they are. To those who encourage him, how will you feel knowing someone will divorce your daughter within 2yrs of marriage just to create room for a new wife?

God encourages procreation in the context of love and loyalty when two unite and form one body, not in this context where we use women as a tool to breed. Any man with 20 woman and enough funding can achieve this target!

It's not good to encourage such persons. He is having 17 houses! Each lives with their mum... but they are not his wife anymore! Islam permits to marry up to 4, and there is a reason for this law too in Islam. He is proud to say 'I never marry a divorcee or widow'. Shame on you Super Dad - how can you call him Super Dad! Does anybody believe there is a real love than accomplishing his target of 100 kids?

Does being a father mean breeding? I have serious doubts if that man even knows names of his children.
