Winds could kick-up dust storm on Friday

The UAE’s national weather forecaster - NCMS - has put out a forecast for the next three days that suggests rain in several part of the UAE might dampen the festive spirit over the long weekend.

Thursday, November 15, is a holiday due to Hijri and the forecast for the day runs as partly cloudy weather in general, hazy at times, with chance of some towering clouds and rain.

For the beachgoers, the sea will be moderate in general, becoming rough at times over offshore areas during morning time.

The wind will also be moderate, freshening at times causing blowing dust/sand epecially over the internal and the western areas.

The forecast remains almost the same for Friday, with only the wind threatening to increase blowing dust/sand, epecially over the internal and the western areas.

Temperatures to remain enticingly cool, hovering between a maximum of 31 and a minimum of 16.
