UAE weather: Cloudy, hazy

If it wasn’t hot enough this summer season, Thursday experienced another spike in mean temperatures, with the highest recorded as 47.2 degrees Celsius in Saih Al Salem at 2.15pm.
 
The lowest recorded was 25.6 degrees Celsius at Jebel Jais mountain at 12.30am.
 
The UAE’s National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has forecasted a rise in temperatures over the south of the country, with cloud cover over Friday and Saturday bringing some respite from the blazing heat.
 
Those feeling particularly adventurous to head outdoors for some recreational activities on Friday, the weather is expected to partly cloudy and hazy at times over some areas, with some low clouds appearing in the east, which may be convective by afternoon.
 
While chances of rainfall are not likely, the light to moderate winds in general are expected to freshening at times, bringing some respite to those in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
 
It is also a good day to venture out at sea, which is forecasted to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
 
The weather on Saturday is not likely to change much from the previous day, still expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy and hazy at times over some areas, with some low clouds expected to appear to the east, which may be convective by afternoon.
 
Light to moderate winds in general, while the sea will also be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
