Motorists have been warned to take utmost caution while driving on roads in Emirates of Abu Dhabi, western and internal parts as well as northern coasts, due to low horizontal visibility caused by formation of thick fog.
In a statement it issued on Monday, the National Metrological and Seismic Centre (NMSC) said visibility range is 100 metres in Al Ain and 200 metres in Jebel Ali.
It urged motorists to observe traffic rules and regulations for their own safety.
