It has never been easier for Abu Dhabi residents to enjoy uninterrupted, secure browsing while they’re visiting some of the capital’s most popular shopping malls, with the recent launch of WiFi UAE in Lulu Malls.

WiFi UAE rollout in Lulu Malls will enable visitors to Khalidiyah Mall, Mushrif Mall, Mazyad Mall and Al Wahda Mall to connect to WiFi UAE and WiFi UAE Premium – the public internet service created by du.

All users will need to do is log on to the service on using any UAE mobile number and choose between the two options for instant access to high speed Internet to browse, chat, and stream videos.

With consistent connectivity, your shopping experience is hauled into the 21st Century digital lifestyle: update your social media with pictures or send a quick email to your family and friends with seamless, reliable, and safe connectivity throughout the malls.

Speaking about the recent introduction of WiFi UAE in Lulu Malls, Jihad Tayara, Vice President Business Development and Partnerships, du, said: “We’re very excited about the recent introduction of WiFi UAE throughout the malls in Abu Dhabi. Expanding our footprint in the emirate enables us to be active participants in developing Smart City initiatives, by enhancing individual connectivity in public areas. Our aim is to connect the entire country, supporting the Leadership’s vision of a smart city and contributing to the overall happiness of residents throughout the UAE.”

Commenting on this joint initiative, V. Nandakumar, Chief Communications Officer of Lulu group said “it has been our continuous effort to provide our shoppers with greater convenience and superior customer service.

This initiative of providing public WIFI in association with du is another step in that direction and we are sure our valued patrons will derive immense value from this

Having just celebrated the milestone of over 1.3 million sessions of WiFi UAE, the service expects to enable WiFi connectivity in more than 300 locations by the end of this year, all with free access to government apps and websites.

The service offers users two types of Internet connection; WiFi UAE, a free WiFi service and WiFi UAE Premium, an affordable paid service that allows users unrestricted upload and download speed. Any WiFi enabled device can access the free and premium WiFi service.
