Woman drowns in swimming pool in RAK

A woman drowned in a swimming pool in a resort in Ras Al Khaimah and police said they were investigating the incident.

Police were called to the resort after security men plucked out the woman’s body, which was taken to the forensic section for examination.

In its report from the northern emirate, the semi official daily Alittihad said the incident took place on Monday but gave no other details.
