Woman officer to drive Dubai Police’s Dh900,000 Ferrari FF

Published

Who is going to drive Dubai Police’s latest addition in its fleet Ferrari FF – a young policeman or an old policeman?

There have been reader comments posted on Emirates 24l7 where the readers suggesting the car should be not be driven by the younger cops as it will be difficult to resist the temptation.

“This must be driven by older cops, not the younger one in order to avoid lot of over speeding fines. :-),” said Mohammed, an Emirates 24l7 reader, in a recent comment.

But Lt General Dhahi Khalfan Al Tamim, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, has some other plans.

Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan has tweeted that the supercar will neither be driven by the older cops nor their younger fellows but by the lady police officers.

“Ferrari Police patrols would be used by women in the police force,” tweets Khalfan.

From the images released, it appears to be the super exclusive FF, sporting a powerful V12 engine.

The FF, which retails for approximately Dh900,000, goes from 0 to 100km in a mere 3.7 seconds.
