Majid Al Futtaim is encouraging regional talents to join its team by demonstrating skill development opportunities and the empowerment of female executives.

The company’s human resources department highlights the example of City Centre Me’aisem, which opened in 2015 through the efforts of a team of outstanding women managing the mall’s successful launch.

From their diverse backgrounds and varied experience in operations, marketing, retail design and project management, the team of talented female executives introduced City Centre Me’aisem as a shopping, entertainment and dining destination created specifically for the needs of surrounding communities.

“City Centre Me’aisem provides a tangible example of the skills development and career progression opportunities delivered by Majid Al Futtaim as an employer, especially for emerging retail talent and female executives,” said Maryam Ahli, Mall Manager of City Centre Me'aisem at Majid Al Futtaim - Properties.

Joining Ahli on the opening team for City Centre Me’aisem were a diverse group of women including Nada Abou Saab, Marketing Director; Siham Salloum, Associate Marketing Manager; Nermeen Negm, Senior Marketing Manager; Sarah Wehbi, Marketing Manager; Misba Mithwani, Senior Manager, Retail Design Management, Camilla Hicks, Senior Manager Leasing, and Begoña Jiménez de Cárdenas, Manager - Retail Design Management.

Given the need for increased participation in the private sector across the Middle East, the company aims to grow its workforce before the end of 2020, reflecting the diversity of its customer base while supporting the professional development of nationals in the communities it serves across the region.
