Youth's Dubai Mall 'twerk' going viral

A young man triggered laughter at Dubai Mall when he performed a strange dance through the mall’s shops without invitation.

The performance also drew criticism from viewers who saw the performance on YouTube.

Newspapers in Kuwait and other Gulf states published the brief YouTube showing the unidentified boy, wearing traditional Arabian dishdasha, dancing through the mall.

“It was a strange and weird dance that triggered laughter and resentment by the mall’s visitors,” the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Al Anba said. “Some readers who saw the film said it was a violation of traditions and public conduct.”
