A family in Turkey suffers from a rare disability that hinders their normal movement. The family members are unable to keep their balance while standing straight and hence are forced to walk on fours, reports UK daily Metro.
The family consists of 19 members and were previously thought to be a rare example of 'reverse evolution'. However, according to latest studies conducted on the bio-mechanics of their gait, researchers have found that their condition is due to a physical disorder which is caused by weak sense of balance and has no relation with the primitive form of mankind.
The five siblings who walk on all fours have done so since their childhood. They mostly keep to themselves as they find it difficult to manage to lead a normal life. The women of the family are mostly found busy knitting something near their house. However, one brother is adventurous and has even visited a nearby village to interact with the neighboring villagers.
