Filipino falls from 7th floor of Dubai building

A Filipino in his 30s died, after falling from the seventh floor of the Hathboor Building No 307 on Muraqabat Street in Dubai on Friday afternoon.

The operations room at Dubai Police had received a call from the building guard, named Babu P, informing them that a person fell the seventh floor.

Speaking to Emirates 24|7, Babu said he saw someone fall from the seventh floor to the first floor and immediately contacted the police.

He said the person fell onto a balcony of a dental clinic on the first floor, which was closed as it was Friday.

Police then contacted the director of clinic Dr. Rasel Abdul Razak, who opened the clinic, where they found the body of the Filipino.

He was already dead due to severe injuries to his head.

The ambulance transported the deceased person to the Department of Forensic Medicine at Dubai Police.

An official police source said that the person was staying in apartment No. 703 and he fell into the balcony of apartment No. 103.

Police are waiting for the forensic report.
