His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved a development project for Dubai Creek front in Bur Dubai's Al Seef area.

The project developer is Meraas Holding. The master plan design reflects the Emirati traditional identity.

The development, scheduled for completion by end-2016, will consist of a floating market, hotels restaurants, art galleries and shops for Emirati handicrafts.
