Following the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, the Government of Dubai confirmed today that the members of the current board of directors of Dubai World headed by the Chairman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, have been officially appointed to sit on the board of directors of "Istithmar World".
Consequently, and following this appointment, any other previously appointed board of directors or advisory committees of Istithmar World will be dissolved with immediate effect, according to a press release distributed today by the Dubai Government Media Office.
