Hamdan approves administrative structures of Dubai Courts

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued the Executive Council’s Resolution No. 15 of 2014, approving the administrative organisational structure of Dubai Courts.

The Director of Dubai Courts will issue all the regulations required to implement this resolution.

This resolution is active from the date of issuance, and to be published in the Official Gazette.

The resolution aims to ensure the efficiency of Dubai Courts’ organisation structure by enabling the departments and divisions to carry their obligations in a fashion that concurs with the strategic plan of Dubai Courts, and according to the approved performance indicators.

Moreover, the newly approved organisational structure considers efficiency of legal precedents, Emiratisation and implementation technology.

Additionally, the Crown Prince of Dubai has issued the Executive Council’s Resolution No.16 of 2014, approving the organisational structure of the Architectural Heritage Department of the General Support Sector at Dubai Municipality.

The department is responsible for preserving the architectural and cultural heritage by conducting surveys and supervising restoration of historic sites like forts, castles, schools, mosques, homes and markets.

The Architectural Heritage Department at Dubai Municipality also carryout campaigns among citizens and expats to increase awareness about preserving UAE’s architectural heritage as an added value to Dubai’s touristic attractions.

The resolution is active from the date of issuance, and to be published in the Official Gazette.
