I consider Meera to be my child: Sheikh Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, paid a personal visit to the young child Meera who suffers from severe trauma after the brutal death of her sister three months ago.

Sheikh Mohammed sat with Meera in the hospital room and inquired about her health and how well she was recuperating from the unfortunate incident that led to her condition. He directed that she is given the best treatment possible.

Meera recognised Sheikh Mohammed as soon as he entered the room, happily calling out... "You are Sheikh Mohammed."

Taking care of full treatment, education and other expenses for Meera and her family, Sheikh Mohammed spoke to her mother saying "I consider Meera to be my child."

Meera's mother expressed her gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed for his kind gesture and his keenness to guarantee the wellbeing of Emirati citizens.
