Leaders discuss development issues

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday visited His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at his Al Bahr Palace majlis, Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, accompanied Sheikh Mohamed during the visit.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged views on a number national and development issues pertaining to ensuring a decent life, happiness and social stability for every Emirati across the beloved country.

They also spoke about the future of the youth and ways to support them to continue their academic and technical achievements as well as to provide the necessary requirements to hone their talents and energies to serve their homeland and society and to build their future.

Leaders receive injured servicemen

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received at Qasr Al Bahr Palace UAE Armed Forces personnel who recovered from injuries sustained while serving as part of the Saudi-led-Arab Coalition ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ in Yemen.

Also present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed were reassured about the health condition of these servicemen. They praised the heroic sacrifices of the Emirati servicemen in defence of the country.

The injured servicemen expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and pledged to continue their sacred duty of defending their country, along with their brothers in the battle fields.

Among those who attended the meeting were Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs (ZHO); Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan; Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council, a number of ministers, key military and civil officials and Emiratis.
