Mohammed, Gen. Mohamed visit Al Bateen majlis

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, visited Al Bateen majlis and met an audience from Al Bateen.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged congratulations with the people on the advent of Ramadan.

They wished good health and happiness to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and further progress and welfare to the people of the UAE as well as progress and prosperity to the Arab and Islamic nations.

They also exchanged cordial talks with the Emiratis which translate love and strong bonds between the UAE citizens and their wise leadership.

They also emphasised that interaction and visits are legacy gleaned from the forefathers as well as a social tradition instilled in the Emirati society.

They also tackled merits of the holy month of Ramadan which enhance communication and interaction among families and friends.

Among those who accompanied them were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.

Jaber Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Crown Prince's Court of Abu Dhabi briefed Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on the objectives, facilities and divisions of Al Bateen Majlis as well as its goals aimed at spreading of cooperation and consultation and strengthening bonds among people which revive a heritage and traditions.

On their part, the people of Al Bateen expressed their happiness at the visit which reflects the legacy and noble values of the UAE society.

They also hailed the UAE's cultural boom under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan

A poem was recited before the audience which expressed pride by the national achievements as well as belonging spirit towards homeland and the prudent leadership.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces attended an iftar banquet hosted by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development at his palace in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed were accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

Among those who also attended the banquet were Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs , Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) and Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Board Chairman of the Presidential Flight, a number of Sheikhs, Lt. General Misbah bin Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice-President and Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai also attended the event.

Mohammed visits tomb of Sheikh Zayed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mohammed read ‘Surat Al Fatiha’ and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest him in Paradise.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance,  Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Lt. General Misbah bin Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice-President, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah and others accompanied Sheikh Mohammed.
