Sheikh Mohammed viewing some high-end jewelry on show (WAM)
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, opened the fifth edition of Art Dubai 2011 exhibition at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai this morning.
Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed on his tour of the art show, which will run from March 15-19, were Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Kicking off his visit, Sheikh Mohammed visited the world-renowned Van Cleef and Arpels jewellery pavilion, where he viewed the latest designs in handmade jewelry and fashion accessories.
