His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, has issued a decision commissioning Mona Ghanim Al Marri, Director General of the Dubai Government Media Office, to supervise the publishing sector in Dubai Media Inc.

The Decision 18 for 2015 authorised Al Marri to run the publishing sector and approve all decisions associated with that sector along with her original job functions.

Under the decision, which came into effect on December 27, the chairman of Dubai Media Inc. shall issue all necessary decisions to implement that decision.

Al Marri said she is delighted by HH Sheikh Mohammed’s confidence in her, adding that the decision places “great responsibilities” on her.

“I will do my best to perform my duties perfectly to support the role played by the establishment in maintaining the UAE’s information and media leadership,” she said.
