Mohammed sets up nuclear energy panel

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, has issued Decree No (15) of 2016 forming the Dubai Nuclear Energy Committee (DNEC).

Decree No (15) of 2016 amends Article (1) of Decree No (26) of 2009 on the Establishment of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.

According to the new Decree, the Dubai Nuclear Energy Committee is a permanent committee attached to the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, and is composed of a Chairman, a Vice Chairman and a number of technical experts who will be appointed through a resolution from His Highness the Ruler.

The Committee serves for a renewable term of three years.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also issued Resolution No (2) of 2016 appointing members of the Dubai Nuclear Energy Committee.

The Committee is headed by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the Chairman; and Engineer Waleed Ali Salman, the Vice Chairman. Others appointed as members include Dr. Riad Mohamed Belhoul; Dr. Abdulkader Ibrahim Al Khayat; Dr. Ali Mohammad Shaheen Ahmed; and Engineer Youssef Ahmed Abduldayem Nasrallah.

Both the Decree and Resolution are valid from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also visited Arabian Travel Market 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Tuesday.

Mohammed receives Hatta FC team

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, received at Zabeel Palace this afternoon, Hatta Football team, which have been promoted this season to the UAE Arabian Gulf League.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, attended the reception.

Sheikh Mohammed greeted the team members, and congratulated them on the qualification to the UAE Football League, known as the Arabian Gulf League.

Sheikh Mohammed and Sheikh Hamdan posed for photos with the administrative and technical staff and players, and wished them a successful performance in future competitions.
