Mohammed to open 15th FNC's Session 2

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,  Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will open the Second Ordinary Session of the 15th Legislative Chapter of the Federal National Council on Tuesday.

Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, top military and civil officials and members of the diplomatic corps will be in attendance at the opening of the session.

On November1 , the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan officially called the FNC to hold its Second Ordinary Session on  November 6.

FNC Speaker Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr said the Council during its First Ordinary Session of the 15th Legislative Chapter between 15 November 2011 and 26 June 2012, had achieved the its objectives.

The first meeting of the session will see the election of observers and the setting up of committees including the committee to respond to the opening speech.

FNC members will also review federal decrees issued this year and the agreements and treaties signed by the government in 2012.

A number of draft federal laws referred by the cabinet, proposals and national health, educational policies will also be discussed at the forthcoming FNC meeting.

Mohammed orders a month's salary as bonus for Elderly Centre’s employees

Sheikh Mohammed has ordered a month’s basic salary as bonus for Dubai Health Authority’s Elderly Centre employees in recognition of their efforts in serving the centre’s residents.

Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid expressed deep thanks and gratitude for Sheikh Mohammed’s gesture which he said showed Shaikh Mohammed’s support and appreciation for distinguished employees.

Al Murooshid said DHA has started putting Sheikh Mohammed’s orders in place, adding that Sheikh Mohammed’s gesture reflects his keenness to support the healthcare sector in the emirate and encourage and motivate the sector’s employees to better their work, explaining that his support and care for human health impose more responsibility on DHA.

Sheikh Mohammed had visited the Dubai Health Authority’s Elderly Centre during the holy month of Ramadan and ensured that quality medical and psychological services were provided to residents, saying that the residents of the centre  are the fathers and grandfathers who lived and grew up in this land and offered their lives to build the modern nation that UAE is today.
