Mohammed visits family of martyr in Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has offered condolences on the family of the martyr Fahad Ali Mohammed Ahmed.

Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Lt. General Misbah bin Rashid AI Fattan, Director of the Office of the Vice-President, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, today visited the mourning majlis in Al Zahra' Area, Ajman.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed his heartfelt sympathy and solace to the family of the deceased, and prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest his soul in the Paradise.

Sheikh Mohammed and those accompanying him also visited the mourning majlis of martyr Badar Soliman Abdullah Jowhar at Mowafja Area, Sharjah. He expressed his heartfelt sympathy and offered solace to the family of the martyr, praying to Almighty Allah to grant his soul rest in Paradise. 

Sheikh Mohammed also condoled the family of martyr Jamal Majed Salem Al Muhairi at the mourning majlis at Noof Area in Sharjah. Sheikh Mohammed expressed his heartfelt condolences and offered solace to his family. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul rest in Paradise.

In a related context, Sheikh Mohammed also offered condolences to the family of martyr Eissa Ibrahim Hamad Al Badwawi at the mourning majlis at Hatta Area, Dubai. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to his family, praying to Almighty Allah to grant rest to all martyrs' souls in Paradise.

At the end of his tour today, Sheikh Mohammed expressed the leadership's and Emirati people's sympathy, as well as the sympathy of all segments of society, with the families of the martyrs who translated into reality the Arab and Islamic teachings and concepts instilled in the UAE society as these values are part of the Emirati legacy and culture put forth by the forefathers.

Earlier, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, offered condolences to the family of Emirati serviceman Ali Hussein Hassan Al Balushi, who fell, along with a number of his colleagues, while performing national duty in 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and other senior officials, visited the mourning majlis in Barsha area in Dubai, where he conveyed his sympathies to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace.

Sheikh Mohammed also visited the mourning majlis of martyr Saeed Ahmed Al Marri in Al Satwa to express his deepest condolences and sympathy to the family.

He also prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed his pride and the pride of the leadership and people of the UAE in the high morale and sense of patriotism shown by the families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defence of the right, refusing injustice and restoring legitimacy in Yemen.

During his meeting with the martyrs' families, Sheikh Mohammed saluted the UAE Armed Forces officers and personnel for their highly skillful training capabilities and for their contribution to operations for peace and stability in different parts of the world as part of the United Nations peacekeeping forces.

The UAE armed Forces have proven their merit during peace and war and in the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the needy.

RAK Ruler performs funeral prayers


His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, performed the funeral prayer on six bodies of the nation's martyrs from Ras Al Khaimah at Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

The martyrs fell in the line of duty while participating in 'Operation Restoring Hope', led by Saudi Arabia to back the legitimate government of Yemen.

Sheikh Saud offered his sincere condolences to the families of martyrs, praising the martyrs as a source of pride for the nation.

Sheikhs, senior local officials, tribal chiefs, notables, dignitaries, army officers and personnel and a crowd of Emirati citizens and residents, who attended the service, prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant their souls rest in Paradise and bestow patience and solace upon their families.

Ajman Ruler performs funeral prayers

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, performed a funeral prayer for the body of Emirati martyr Fahad Ali Al Balushi at the Sheikh Zayed mosque.

The martyr fell while on national duty as part of the Arab Coalition's ‘Operation Restoring Hope’.

A number of sheikhs, local officials, senior army officers and a crowd of Emirati citizens and residents also performed the prayer.

They also prayed to Allah to bestow His mercy and eternal peace on the martyrs' soul, and to grant his family patience and solace to bear the loss.

Three martyrs laid to rest in Dubai

Martyrs Ali Hussein Hassan Taher Al Blouchi, Issa Ibrahim Al Badwawi and Saeed Ahmed Obeid Al Marri, who fell, along with a number of their colleagues, while performing national duty in 'Operation Restoring Hope' in Yemen, were buried in Dubai on Saturday, reported Arabic daily ‘Al Ittihad’.

Thousands of mourners attended the funerals in Al Barsha, Al Satwa and Hatta areas respectively.

Huge crowd flocked to the Al Quoz cemetery where martyrs Ali Hussein Hassan Taher Al Blouchi and martyr Saeed Ahmed Obeid Al Marri were laid to rest.

Similarly, huge crowds attended the funeral of martyr Issa Ibrahim Al Badwawi at the Hatta Grand mosque.

Families and friends of the three martyrs said that the soldiers had expressed their wish to be martyrs.

Pride of Hatta

The father of martyr Issa Ibrahim Al Badwawi said he is proud that his eldest son is a martyr, sacrificing his life  for his homeland. He recalled speaking to his son two days before he died.

He has another son in the armed forces fighting in Yemen.

Martyr Issa Ibrahim Al Badwawi’s 95-year-old grandfather also expressed his pride that his grandson has become a martyr and added that all his grandchildren are ready to go to the battlefront in Yemen.

Meanwhile, father of martyr Ali Al Blouchi  said that he  has six sons and all are ready for sacrificing their lives for their homeland.

He said his son served with devotion and loyalty to his country and the leadership and added that he has six sons, of whom two are in Yemen at present. The others are ready to participate in the battle.

Martyrs laid to rest in Ajman and RAK

Crowds of citizens and residents of the Emirate of Ajman laid martyr Fahd Ali Mohammed Al Blouchi to rest on Saturday afternoon at his final resting place, the Arabic daily newspaper Al Ittihad reported.

Sultan Al Blouchi, brother of Fahd, said words fail to describe the sacrifices of brave martyrs who gave their lives willingly to protect the homeland.

He added that the UAE martyrs went to Yemen to help their brothers there in Operation Restoring Hope. All UAE people are proud of these faithful martyrs among whom Fahd was one.

Commenting on his brother, Sultan said Fahd had a sense of humour and he used to make others laugh and was always happy. He added that Fahd asked his mother pray for him before going to Yemen.

Sultan added that Fahd’s death was difficult bear but martyrdom for homeland is an honour for all in the family. He said he too wished to die as a martyr like his brother to protect the UAE.

Rashid Al Baluchi, another brother of Fahd, said he and every citizen of UAE are proud of the martyrdom of these heroes who sacrificed their lives for this country.

He mentioned that there are nine people in the family, three women and six men, most of whom serve in the armed forces. Fahd was 26 years old when he died in Yemen.

Saeed Al Blouchi, a friend and cousin of the martyr and who is in the army, said Fahd served his homeland with sincerity and dedication.

He added that Fahd is a role model for everyone because he died defending Saudi Arabia, land of the holy shrines, and asked Allah to accept the martyr in heaven.

Abul Hay Mohammed, a cousin of the martyr and also his father-in-law, said he is very sad for Fahd because he has four young children: Obaid, Hareb, Salama and Amar.

He added that Fahd's death was a surprise to everyone and no one expected it but he died defending the homeland. He asked his wife to take care of their children.

RAK martyrs

Meanwhile, Ras Al Khaimah citizens laid seven martyrs to their last rest after performing the funeral prayer in Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Al Ittihad reported.

Relatives of the dead soldiers expressed pride in the martyrdom of their sons. They added that their heroism will not be in vain and that the Arab alliance forces in Yemen will win.

Sulaiman Jassim Al Blouchi

Khalid Al Blouchi, brother of martyr Sulaiman Jassim Al Blouchi, said all UAE people stand together behind the leadership and are ready to sacrifice their lives for the country.

“Martyrdom of my brother is a decoration on his chest and his family,” he added.

“My brother was 24 years old and he is the youngest in the family consisting of nine members. He was married and had a son and a daughter,” he said.

He said all his brothers are ready to protect the country by sacrificing their lives.

He said his brother had called family members and his wife before his death and had asked them to take care of his mother.

Abdullah Rashid Ahmed Rashid Al Shumaili

Rashid, brother of martyr Abdullah Rashid Ahmed Rashid Al Shumaili, said his 34-year-old brother was martyred while protecting the nation.

He pointed out “that the support of the leadership and people of the UAE had tempered the family’s loss.”

He added that his brother's martyrdom is the pride of his family.

Sultan Saleh Naghr Al Shehi

Saif Sultan Saleh Al Shehi, brother of martyr Sultan Saleh Naghr Al Shehi, said his brother said he wished to be a martyr when he called the family before his death.

He added that the martyr has nine brothers who are ready to sacrifice their lives for the homeland.

He said: “My 32-year-old brother joined the armed forces long ago and he loved the armed forces.”

He continued: “The support of the UAE leaders to the martyrs’ families had tempered our loss. Protecting the homeland is a sacred duty.”

Rashid Ali Saeed Al Jedidi Al Shehi

Hamad Al Shehi, son of martyr Rashid Ali Saeed Al Jedidi Al Shehi, said that he and his brothers are very proud of his 48 year-old father who sacrificed his life for the homeland.
 
He noted that Rashid had called a few hours before he died.

Salem Rashid Jadeed Al Shehi

Ali Hammoud Al Shehi, a relative of martyr Salem Rashid Jadeed Al Shehi, said the 35 year-old martyr joined the armed forces 17 years ago and was married with four children.

He said all citizens are ready to sacrifice their lives to protect the homeland.

Saoud Mohammed Saleh Al Sa’adi

Qais, brother of martyr Saoud Mohammed Saleh Al Sa’adi of Defta area of Ras Al Khaimah,  said his  31-year-old brother had married a few months ago and was waiting for his first child.

He added that the martyr had made his last call to his mother and had also asked all family members to take care of their mother.

Rashid Mohamed Rashid Al Khanbouli Al Shehi

Mohammed, son of martyr Rashid Mohamed Rashid Al Khanbouli Al Shehi, said his father gave his life for the homeland.

He said he and the rest of the eight brothers are also willing to walk along his father’s path and he and all his family are proud of his father’s sacrifice for the UAE.
