Our flag, our unity and pride: Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,  Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. said on Wednesday that the UAE flag represents the unity of our homeland and affirms that we are one at heart; calling on all Emiratis to celebrate the flag day, which falls on Monday November 3 by hoisting the nation’s flag atop the houses.

On a statement posted on his twitter account, Sheikh Mohammed said that next Monday to coincide with the Flag day; and to celebrate this occasion, everybody is to hoist the UAE flag across all land, atop private and public buildings.

Sheikh Mohammed added that everyone will join at 12 noon to raise the flag. By doing this, our nation will communicate one message; we are not divided Emirates but united; and that the flag is the symbol of our national pride.
