Sheikh Hamdan issues information security decision for Dubai government

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has issued a decision regarding the information security of the Dubai of government.

The decision aims to achieve and develop an integrated strategy and an unified policy for the security of information systems in the government so as to protect them for their strategic value and vitality to the emirate.

It will also create safe and reliable environment to store and preserve the government information through the adoption of the best ways to help reduce the risk of information violations. The decision will further boost information security awareness through application of the safe electronic culture.
