Heat stroke? Camel severs owners head

A camel story, tragic, that has taken India by storm.

According to the Times of India, a camel attacked its owner and severed his head.

The incident which happened Rajasthan's Barmer district on Saturday is being attributed to the camel being tied by the legs in the sun for hours.  

The camel turned angry and attacked, killing the man.

About 25 villagers struggled for 6 hours to calm the animal down, the TOI adds.

Urjaram of Mangta village was identified as the deceased.

India is witnessing a heatwave, with Rajasthan seeing some of the highest mercury levels in the country.
