Horrific car crash in RAK leaves 2 Emirati teens dead

Two Emirati youth died and a third was seriously injured in a car accident in Ras Al Khaimah yesterday.

The first victim is 19-years-old and identified as R.A.A and the second one is 17-years-old and identified as R.S.R.

Meanwhile, the third person who accompanied them in the car was seriously injured and admitted to the intensive care unit.

First Lieutenant Ibrahim Saif Al Mazrouei, Director of Traffic at Al Dikdakah police station said that the operations room received a call about the accident on Azan road.

Police patrols, rescue teams and ambulances rushed to the site of the accident.

All three passengers who were in the vehicle were thrown outside the car based on the strength of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle, who died, was not carrying a driving license.

Lieutenant Al Mazrouei reiterated his appeal to all motorists need to abide by traffic rules and regulations to ensure their safety and the safety of road users.
