A 22-year-old Asian man died after drowning in Ras Al Khaimah sea in turbulent weather while his two friends were rescued.
The three were swimming in Khor area on Friday when one of them was drawn in by the strong currents, prompting beach visitors to call the police.
“Visitors managed to pull two of them out, but the third drowned. Police divers plucked his body nearly 45 minutes later,” Emarat Al Youm daily said.
