MANILA (Tue, Jan 29)—Dennis Trillo must be one of the most loved and hated actors in today’s Philippine entertainment industry.
All because of his torrid kissing scenes with Marian Rivera, the Filipino-Spanish girlfriend of Dingdong Dantes, in their TV drama series, ‘Temptation of Wife’.
“They’re die-hard fans of Dingdong and Marian,” he said. “I know they hate me, but this is just work.”
In last week’s episode, Trillo and Rivera, who plays Angeline in the series, even did a bed scene, much to the chagrin of DongYan (Dingdong and Marian) fans.
“But we have more kissing scenes to come,” Trillo (Marcel) said.
He also will have more kissing and bed scenes with co-star Glaiza de Castro (Heidi).
In fact, many showbiz insiders are now anticipating a romance between the two, as Trillo is known to have fallen in love easily with his leading ladies.
“Well, I am not surprised that we’re being linked together,” Trillo said of the rumours about him and de Castro, in a recent article in the tabloid Tempo. “But so far we haven’t felt uncomfortable with each other while doing our intimate scenes.”
‘Temptation of Wife’, which premiered on GMA-7 last October 29, is a Filipino drama series and remake of the 2008 South Korean hit drama series of the same title. The series revolves around the lives of Marcel, Angeline, and Heidi. Marcel is married to Angeline, who finds out that he’s cheating on her with Heidi.
