270kg woman falls in bath

A 52-year-old Saudi woman weighing nearly 270kg was rushed to hospital after she fell on the floor in the bathroom at her house in the Gulf Kingdom.

Several civil defence men joined hands with medical teams to carry the woman out of her house in the Western town of Medina and transfer her to King Fahd Hospital, according to the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’.
 
Doctors said the woman suffered from a fracture and that she was already suffering from obesity-associated illnesses including breathing difficulty, fatigue, diabetes and hypertension.
