9 dogs burned alive for attacking Saudi kids

Residents of a neighbourhood in Saudi Arabia captured nine dogs and burned them alive after they attacked children outside their homes.

The dogs were tied and thrown near a sewage pit before they were set on fire in the Saudi capital Riyadh, according to Ajel newspaper.

“The residents are searching for three more dogs which they say are still at large and pose a threat to children,” the paper said.

It said the burning of the dogs was filmed and published on YouTube before it was removed by the network on the ground is violated its terms.

Jogger hurt in fall trying to flee dog
 
A 58-year-old Filipino jogger suffered from leg injuries after he fell into a pit in Kuwait while trying to flee a barking dog, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The man was jogging in the capital Kuwait City when he saw a large dog barking and running after him, the Arabic language daily Al Watan said.

“The man was frightened and decided to run away. He was still looking behind him when he lost his balance and fell into a small pit, resulting in an injury to his leg,” the paper said, adding that the man was taken to hospital.
