A Saudi newspaper on Wednesday published what it said was a brief film showing the deadly petrol tanker blast in the capital Riyadh last week, when 23 people were killed and nearly 140 others were injured.
Alsaudeh Arabic language daily said the 28-second film was shot by a security camera mounted on a police car which happened to be in the area where the accident occurred.
The morning blast on Thursday Nov 8 badly damaged a flyover in Riyadh after the tanker, laden with gas, rammed into the structure.
Besides the human casualties, the blast damaged nearly 300 cars, 100 nearby shops and 600 apartments. Many of those killed have not yet been identified while 26 Saudis were among those injured.
