Filipina maid ends life by slashing veins

A 24-year-old Filipina housemaid committed a suicide by using a kitchen knife to slash the veins of her hands at her employer’s house in Kuwait.

Police went to the house in Kuwait City after receiving a call from her employers that the maid had killed herself inside the toilet.

Police found the maid lying in a pool of blood and took the body to the coroner for examination. Al Watan daily said police opened an investigation to determine the maid’s motives for committing a suicide.
