Filipina killed trying to escape Saudi employer

A Filipina housemaid was killed while trying to escape her employer in Saudi Arabia by climbing down a rope she tied to her bedroom on the third floor.

Police said the maid died on impact after she landed on her head on the ground near the building in the central town of Aflaj.

Newspapers said police were investigating the case but did not mention why the maid was trying to flee her employer.
