Groom sends funny card to wedding guests

A Saudi groom with a sense of humour posted a funny invitation card on social networks to attract as many guests as possible to his wedding.

The trick did work as Mohammed Al Mutairi was flooded with responses from those invited assuring him they would come to the party.

The unique card, a copy of which was published in Sada Arabic language newspaper, carried pictures of funny faces and a heart in addition to handwritten words saying: “Finally, I got married…my advice to all bachelors is to get married.”

Sada said the wedding would be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Thursday September 18.
