Gulf woman gifts 'housemaid' to her Khaleeji friend

A Saudi woman was gifted a housemaid by a woman from another Gulf country, triggering sharp online criticism from the public.

A man said on his Twitter page: “This is a rejected act.”

The Saudi daily ‘Okaz’ said a woman from another Gulf country gave her Saudi friend a housemaid as a “friendship gift” but it did not provide other details.

“Many people in the Gulf slammed such an act,” the paper said.
