Kuwaiti cops kill lioness...

Kuwaiti policemen killed a lioness after it attacked a Bangladeshi shepherd while he was attending to his sheep in the oil-rich Gulf emirate.

The Arabic language daily 'Al Anba' said the Bangladeshi escaped with serious injuries after he managed to flee from the lioness and hide inside his car.

He then phoned the police, who sent a large force to the area where the lion was sighted, the paper said.

“They shot the lioness dead as they feared that it might attack other people,” the paper said without mentioning where the animal had come from.
