Kuwaiti illusionist claims to make car vanish in desert

A teenage Kuwaiti illusionist succeeded in making a car vanish in a stunning open-air performance in the Gulf desert.

A 151-second YouTube film showed Yousef Al Kandari asking two men to hold a blanket to hide the yellow mini Cooper car from the camera. When the blanket is removed after he counts to three, the car vanishes.

The Kuwaiti Arabic language newspaper Al-Anba which carried the film said Al Kandari performed the act in the Gulf emirate but did not mention where.

It quoted him as saying no trick was involved in the performance.
