Maid accused of casting magic spell on family

An Asian housemaid was accused of casting a magic spell on a Saudi family to split the man and his wife before the sorcery work was discovered after it was seen by the wife in her dream, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Tuesday.

The man and his wife in the northern Saudi town of Al Khafji had lived happily together before their marital life was suddenly “turned upside down,”  Sabq said.

“The wife then had a vision…she saw in her dream that the maid had hidden magic items in her attempt to split her from her husband and she also saw where the items were hidden,” the Arabic language daily said.

The paper quoted Sheikh Thamer Al Shammari as saying he was called by the husband and told about his wife’s vision.

“I searched in the place seen by the wife and found magic items placed by the maid…they included amulets, a talisman, blood and other items…I managed to dismantle the magic work but I continued to suffer from allergy in my hands for two days after I touched those items.”
