Man hit by car after fleeing dog

A 35-year-old Indian man suffered from serious injuries when he was knocked over by a car as he tried to escape a dog chasing him in Kuwait.

The man was walking back home in the capital Kuwait City when the massive dog emerged from nowhere, bared its teeth and barked before running after him.

“The man was so frightened that he ran away and tried to cross a busy street as the dog ran after him…he was hit by a car and rushed to hospital in a serious condition,” the Arabic language daily Alwatan said.

It did not make clear if the dog escaped the accident or whether it would be charged by the police for causing that accident.
