Man rejects Dh100,000 for falcon...

A greedy Saudi man rejected an offer to sell his falcon for SR100,000 (Dh100,000), hoping to get a bigger sum at a bird auction in nearby Kuwait.

His hopes did not materialise as the bird was sold for SR27,000 (Dh27,000).

The man was offered SR100,000 by a well-known falconer in Saudi Arabia just after he captured the bird of prey in the northern Saudi town of Rafha.

“He rejected the offer, hoping to get much more at a bird auction in Kuwait, but the bird fetched him only SR27,000 and he agreed to sell it,” ‘Sada’ newspaper said.
