Movie-style dresses robbery in Kuwait

Three masked thieves, apparently influenced by film robberies, smashed their way into luxury clothes shops in Kuwait and made away with expensive women dresses worth over $120,000, Alanba daily said on Monday.

The thieves also wore gloves to evade finger print detection when they used cutters to break the locks of three clothes shops on Friday night, it said.

“The thieves made away with costly dresses with an estimated value of KD36,000 ($122,000),” the paper said.

“Police checking security cameras saw they were three thieves but all of them were masked and wearing gloves.”
