President of Yemen, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, has directed the ministries to commence their work in Aden so as to deliver services to the public and run the state until the capital, Sana'a, is liberated from the Houthi rebels and the Saleh group.

President Hadi made the remarks today while chairing a meeting attended by Yemen's speaker Mohammed Al Shadadi, a number of ministers and officials.

During the meeting, they discussed the current situation and the urgent needs to normalise life and provide for the daily requirements of people in the Governorate of Aden and other areas surrounding it.

They also discussed the challenges facing the ministries after the Houthi militia took over the Central Bank in Sana'a, resulting in the suspension of salaries to the government employees.

President Hadi instructed the officials to deliver the services to citizens, incorporate local popular resistance into the army and other security authorities, and focus on youth through rehabilitation and training, as they are the future and the backbone of Yemen.

He called for unity and co-operation to achieve stability in the country.

The Governor of Aden, Major General Ja'far Mohammed Saad, and the ministers spoke about the requirements needed urgently to normalise life in Yemen.
