A government unit created on orders by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia to fight corruption in the world’s dominant oil power has reported some ministers to the Monarch, accusing them of failing to cooperate with it.

The National Anti-Corruption Authority, Nazaha (sincerity) said it had been asked by the 90-year-old King to report to him any government party that refuses to cooperate with its investigators seeking to curb mismanagement of funds in the Gulf Kingdom.

“The Monarch has told us to report personally to him any part that refuses to cooperate
“We have reported to him the names of the departments and the ministers who are not cooperating,” Nazaha Chairman Mohammed Al Shareef said.

According to the Arabic language daily Al Hayat, which carried the report, Shareef did not identify the ministers or say what measures would be taken against them.
